Laureate Zeta

About Us...

Meetings

Laureate Zeta is an afternoon chapter that meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month, September - June. Meetings are held in the North West.

Socials:

We have Socials throughout the year.  The kind of things we have done are YYC Hot Chocolate in February (supporting Meals on Wheels), Tours of the New Library, and Aleppo Savon Soap Factory. Here are our annual socials:

August: Beginning Day

October: Pot Luck Lunch

December: Christmas Lunch

June: Year End Lunch

Ways & Means:

We have set our dues so that we do not have to do Ways and Means Projects.

Service:

We man Salvation Army Kettles at Market Mall at Christmas time and volunteer at the Calgary Food Bank. We donate to the Veterans Food Bank, Calgary Food Bank, Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids and many others. In the past, we donated a new fridge to the Mustard Seed Ministry.

Dues:

Chapter dues are $75.00 per year. Some socials are subsidized, but many functions are pay-as-you-go, which seems to work well.

More Info...

Our chapter is a dynamic group of individuals participating in many sorority functions. We love to laugh and like all good sorority sisters, we love to eat! We have several past member advisors and Council executives.
