Laureate Beta

Laureate Beta Chapter was formed in 1998.  Preceptor Alpha Eta Chapter accepted the charter and changed the status to Laureate Beta.

The chapter has 20 active members in Ritual, Exemplar, Preceptor, Laureate and Master. 

We are a career chapter with the flexibility of that format.

 Meetings

Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.  The first meeting is a program meeting and can include anything from going to a movie or play to just meeting at a home and just catching up.  The second meeting is a business meeting. 

Currently, we are meeting in the afternoons in members' homes.

We meet from the beginning of September to mid-June for our wind-up.

Age

We are a very diverse group with members in their 50s to 80s with some members still working full time and others are retired. 

Social Events

We are a very social group and meet for lunches, craft sales, movies and more.

We also have a couple of mixed socials with the partners of members. 

We honour a chapter Valentine sweetheart and a woman of the year.

We support a secret senior and we participate in a secret Santa. 

We are a fun bunch of ladies.
